Susanna Wesley's 16 Rules for Her Children

Susanna was the youngest of twenty-five children. As the wife of Anglican minister Samuel Wesley, she became the mother of nineteen children. Through her many hardships and financial struggles, she became the primary teacher for her children. Susanna is the mother of theologians John and Charles Wesley.

Blessed is everyone who fears the Lord, who walks in his ways! You shall eat the fruit of the labor of your hands; you shall be blessed, and it shall be well with you. Your wife will be like a fruitful vine within your house; your children will be like olive shoots around your table. Behold, thus shall the man be blessed who fears the Lord. Psalm 128:1-4, ESV

Godly Choices

There’s a time for every activity under the heavens. But is today the right time? We can do many things, but not everything is beneficial. Let’s use these questions to guide us in making Godly choices.

You adulterers! Don’t you realize that friendship with the world makes you an enemy of God? I say it again: If you want to be a friend of the world, you make yourself an enemy of God. James 4:4-5, NLT
